Congratulations to the Lady Bulldog softball team for defeating the Dublin Lady Lions 5-1. Leading the Lady Dawgs defensively was Katie McAnelly who had 9 strikeouts in the circle. Katie’s defense stood behind her the entire game to allow only 1 run. Hitting strong for the Lady Bulldogs was Destiny Williams putting the ball into deep left center getting her a double. The momentum was contagious as McAnelly, Kaitlyn Mork and Jaylynn Salgado all scored as Anna Reyes hit the ball to Right field.

Last night, the JV Lady Dogs won a hard fought battle with the Lady Lions. Offensively, the Lady Dogs were patient in the box the first few innings with a wild pitcher. As the innings progressed, the dog’s bats came alive. Shelby Adair and Keeley Johnson both had great hits. Defensively, Alyssa Nino was in circle for the dogs. Nino pitched a great game with minimal hits. Keeley Johnson, playing second, had a great double play to help the dogs secure the win. The Lady Dogs will be back in action on Saturday against Coleman!
