Bulldogs News · JV football beats Comfort

JV vs. Comfort

The JV football team ended their two-game skid with a big win versus Comfort last week. With the win it brings them to 2-2 in district and 3-6 overall on the season.

Offensively the Bulldogs were led by Spencer Morris and Parker Linnard. Morris threw for two touchdowns, both caught by Parker, and punched in another from 1 yard out. The offense controlled the game for the most part stringing together long and time-consuming drives to help keep Comfort’s Offense off the field.

Defensively the Bulldogs were led by Israel Pena and Adrian Medrano who both caused game changing turnovers. The defense started off slow giving up a touchdown to the Comfort offense on the first series of the game. Medrano striped the ball on the second series to swing the momentum back in favor of the Bulldogs and the defense never looked back.

Overall it was an outstanding effort by the guys to finish out the game with a big district win. We look to build upon the momentum one last time this season as we welcome the Sonora Broncos to Bulldog Stadium to close out the season.
